It takes the mystery out of testing!

This book is wonderful. If you are enrolled in a TESOL program and or want to understand testing, this book is worth your while. Get it sooner rather than later. If you are like me and thought Cronbach's Alpha was a posinous snake, it could come in handy. In fact, even if you were a statistics major, this book takes the mystery out of testing!

The book is kind of easy to follow

The book is kind of easy to follow. It has several steps that help you to use excel to calculate the results of the tests. There are a few typo errors , but it is actually a good guidance for teachers who start learning how to use excel. It also have some video which help you understand how to use the excel which are better than reading the steps in the text.

Needs new editors

This textbook was required by one of my graduate English courses. I was appalled at the number of errors--spelling and grammar--found throughout this book. I have to wonder if the book underwent an editing process at all prior to publication.
