Good book but how did it get so expensive.

Although some of the topics and the content is a bit outdated, it does a decent job of connecting the grammar part of the course with its cultural context. The author obviously spent quite of bit of time on the topics discussed.
I bought the book two semester ago and everywhere it was at half the price. i dont see why the author needed to jack up the price on us students. At $50 it is a good book but at $115+ it is too expensive. Where is my $65 going to? Books don't fluctuate that much on price at least not on the same edition. I dont know i just feel value isn't there for the price.

Definitely RENT this book. it is too expensive for what its worth. it has great articles to read and study off of it which i used in class. Overall Its excellent for practicing spanish.
