About the Author
Whitney Davis is John Evans Professor of Art History and Director of the Alice Berline Kaplan Center for the Humanities at Northwestern University. He is the author of, most recently, Pacing the World: Construction in the Sculpture of David Rabinowitch (Fogg Art Museum, 1996), Drawing the Dream: Homosexuality, Interpretation, and Freud �„ôs �„úWolf Man �„ù (Indiana, 1995), and Masking the Blow: The Scene of Representation in Late Prehistoric Egyptian Art (California, 1992).
